Veteran's Day is always in the middle of the week and goes by before you know it. There was a Parade downtown today, but no way to make it away from work, one year I will make it. I try to make up for it by prayer and an everyday attitude of thanks to all those that have served our country overseas. Please thank a veteran the next time you realize they are in your presence. You will be amazed how surprised they will be because they aren't recognized very often.
I recently heard a story from American Catholic Radio about 4 Army Chaplains who went down with a troop ship in World War II. Read the story at this link to see how those serving God also gave the ultimate sacrifice serving in defense of our country.
May God Bless all Veterans of the USA. May our prayers be heard to accept all into your care.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
“Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?”
“Here I am,” I said; “send me!”
